Tyrone S. Davis 47 of Chadbourn transitioned into eternal rest on June 1, 2023. Reverend David Flowers will deliver the eulogy, burial will follow in Belvue Cemetery in Chadbourn. Survivors are: mother: Geraldine Davis, daughter: Hope A. Davis, sisters: Tonya Thompson and Felicia Thompson.

Patricia Johnson 74 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on May 28, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters: Jean Campbell and Linda Artis; burial will be private.    

Charity Flowers 86 of Chadbourn transitioned into eternal rest on May 27, 2023.  Reverend Jerry Ganus will deliver the eulogy, burial will follow in Belvue Cemetery in Chadbourn.\ Survivors are daughter: Katrine Davis, brothers: Raymond Flowers and George Flowers Jr., two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  

Kenneth N. McKinnon 65 of Fayetteville transitioned into eternal rest on May 26, 2023. A viewing will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hope Mills prior to the service; burial will follow.

William Junior Smith 63 of Lumberton transitioned into eternal rest on May 18, 2023. Survivors are wife: Claretha Mae Smith, daughters: Katrena Nicole Smith and Sabrena Ann Smith, brothers: Charles W. Smith and Willie James Smith, sisters: Ernestine Cobbs, Janet Smith, Patricia L. Smith, Tina Y. White, Antonette Hammonds and two grandchildren. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery.  

Mrs. Willie Mae Robinson 68 of Laurinburg transitioned into eternal rest on May 15, 2023. Willie Mae (Shugg) was the most loving and devoted wife, aunt, cousin and friend. She is survived by her husband Ron Rico, sister, Ann and four nephews, 6 nieces and a host of relatives and friends. Pastor Apostle Benjamin Stephens will deliver the eulogy.  Burial will be at later date.

Ronald Lee Leggett 58 of Rowland transitioned into eternal rest on May 12, 2023. Survivors are daughters: Laquarda Green and A’Miracle Patterson, son: Le’Byron McKoy, brother: Allen Leggett, sisters: Annie Brown, Ella Taylor, Jean Leggett and four grandchildren. Burial will follow at a later date.

Margaret McNeill McCollum 67 of Godwin, NC formerly of Fayetteville, NC transitioned into eternal rest on May 07, 2023.  Burial will be private at a later date.

John Willie Evans 65 of Chadbourn transitioned into eternal rest on May 05, 2023. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1:00PM from the Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen, NC; burial will follow. Survivors are daughter: Jessica Evans; sons: Johnathon Evans and Kendrick Evans; brothers: Johnny Mack Evans and Larry Evans Sr.; sister: Helen Adams.

Mrs. Loretta McMillan- Pickett 87 of Whiteville transitioned into eternal rest on April 30, 2023. Survivors are sons: Percell Pickett Jr. (Bernadette) and Curtis Allen McMillan; daughters: Hannah Pickett, Deborah Lewis Pickett and Katie Louise McMillan; brother: Leo "Bud" McMillan Jr.; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Burial will follow in Camp Ground Cemetery in Whiteville.
