Deacon Lacy E. McDonald 81 of Parkton transitioned into eternal rest on Sept. 1, 2019.
Dr. Kenneth Jenkins is the pastor and will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Sandy Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery in Lumber Bridge.
Survivors are: Brothers: Vann McDonald, A.G. McDonald, Jerome McDonald and Reginald McDonald. Sisters: Nepsy Brown, Naomi McNeil, Marie Bacote, Mattie McDonald, Augusta Scott, Gladys Johnson and Zoe McDonald Brown. Grandchildren: 1 and a special niece: Joy Garrett Boone.
