George Mickens 72 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on May 27, 2019.

Reverend T.R. Davis is the pastor. Elder James Simms will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the McLeod Cemetery in Maxton.

Survivors are: Brother: Terry Mickens. Sisters: Deborah Hoskins and Lenora Mickens.
