Jean Carolyn McGirt 56 of Durham transitioned into eternal rest on August 25, 2018.
Dr. David N. Patterson will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors are: Father: Robert Taylor. Daughters: Tonisha McGirt and Betty McGirt. Sons: Timothy McGirt, Orlando McGirt and Waverly McGirt. Brothers: James Eddie Smith, James Jr. Smith, Charles Smith, Willie Smith, David Smith, Eddie McGirt, Steve Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Jerald Taylor, Tyrone Taylor, Barry Holeman, Luwann Holeman and Eugene Span. Sisters: Tina Lee Kloods, Carolyn Lee Covinston, Belinda Smith, Viola Smith and Teresia Thelor.
