Louis "Butch" Giles Ford 73 of Fair Bluff transitioned into eternal rest on September 5, 2018. He was in the army.

Burial will follow in the Butler Branch Church Cemetery in Fair Bluff.

Survivors are: Wife: Alice Faye Ford. Son: Synard Bullock (Belinda). Brothers: Vincent Butler(Brenda), Lamar Butler Sr. (Pam), Ajamu Akida (Juanita), and Charles Ford. Sisters: Barbara Ford and Anna Ford. Two grandchildren and one great grandchildren.
