She is preceded in death by a daughter Carolyn Jean Pugh.

Survivors are: Sons: James Alton Pugh and Benjamin Franklin Pugh.Brother: Dan Miles Jr. Grandchildren: Zead Lamonte Pugh, Devero McDougal (Tina Michelle), Jermaine McDougal, Latasha Pugh, Nikki McDougal-Summers (Warren) and Tyquan Pugh. Great grandchildren: Tijharay Pugh, Shameeka Benders, Maya McDougal, Kweisi McDougal-Garland, LyAsha Anderson, Deja McDougal, Devero McDougal II, and Kweli McDougal-Jones. Great Great Grandchildren: 5.
