Annie Catherine Pridgen 89, of Whiteville transitioned into eternal rest on July 22, 2021.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00AM from the grounds of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Whiteville. Dr. Timothy Lance will deliver the eulogy; burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Annie leaves to cherish her life her five daughters Linda Pridgen Bluford (Charles), Antoinette Pridgen Wooten ( Quincie Sr.), Delphia C. McCoy, Devalee Pridgen Gattison ( Thomas), Azona Pridgen Evans (Anthony); two sons William Thomas McCoy ( Sylvia) and Nathaniel Pridgen Sr. Annie was preceded in death by her three sisters; Helen Pridgen Wooten, Mary Pridgen Williams, and Mozella Pridgen Shipman; seven brothers Clyde, James, John, Richard, Pertis, Walter Lee, and Thurston Pridgen; and two grandchildren Marquita Bluford, and Marque Bluford.   She also leaves behind two sisters Geraldine P. Boykin and Barbara J. Brown (Clifton), 15 grandchildren, 16 great grand children and one great great grandson.
