Christine McRae 70 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on July 11, 2022.

Survivors are: Daughter: Vonnetta Brown, Sons: Antonio Brown, Darrell Brown and Demel Brown; Brothers: James Brown, James Brown Jr., Bobby Brown, Everette Lee Brown, Thomas Brown, Earl Brown and Ernest Brown; Sisters: Catherine Brown, Dora Ann Brown, Dorothy Newsome and Carolyn Allen, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Burial will follow in the McLeod Cemetery in Maxton.
