Daniel “Jackie” Jenkins

Daniel Jenkins  affectionately called “Jackie” 83 of Cerro Gordo transitioned into eternal rest on April 27, 2023.

Survivors are 5-Daughters: Brenda McKenzie, Jacqueline (Carl) Gordon, Janice (Antoine) Edge, Shelia (Darrell) Riley all of Cerro Gordo, NC, Aleasia (Rev Derek) McNair of Hope Mills, NC.  

2-Special Daughters: Belinda Jenkins of Fayetteville, NC, Clementine (Dwight) Brown of Cerro Gordo, NC.

1-Son: Shannon (Tekeya) Jenkins of Raleigh, NC.

3-Brothers; Freeman Jenkins of Fayetteville, NC, Charles (Geneva) Jenkins of Chadbourn, NC, Rodger (Julia) Landover, MD.

2-Sisters: Sarah (Rev Ronald) Alford of Cerro Gordo, NC, Jerretta Young of Chadbourn, NC

3-Sister-in-law: Peggy McClain of Hallsboro, NC, Rachel Dossie of Fair Bluff, NC, Hilda Faye Jenkins of Cerro Gordo, NC

A Special Sister-in-law: Verneva Jenkins of Cerro Gordo, NC

12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson.

Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Memorial Gardens in Cerro Gordo.
