Deaconess Josephine Atkinson 85 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on September 28, 2020.

For the safety of you and others mask and face coverings must be worn for the duration of the services.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday October 3, 2020 at 1:00PM from McLeod Memorial Cemetery in Maxton; burial will follow.

Survivors are: Daughters: Victoria Atkinson-Hill and May Lavun Atkinson. Sons: Vernon Atkinson and Douglas Edward Atkinson. Sister: Lucille McIntyre. Grandchildren: 17, Great Grandchildren: 34, Great Great Grandchild: 1.
