Bishop David Patterson will deliver the eulogy; burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, NC.

Survivors are: mother: Mandy Thomas; sons: Desmond Brown and Bryan Brown; God-sons: Taiwan Smith and Tobias McRae; brothers: Randolph McRae, Forster McRae, Jesse Martin and Willie McGirt; sisters: Wanda McNeill, Tammy Bethea, Margaret Witherspoon, Jacqueline Brown, Mary Patterson, Carrie Quick and Rose Mae Bullock.
