Bishop Kenneth Mitchell will deliver the eulogy; burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery in Rowland.

Survivors: husband: Robert J. Southern, daughter: Marian Thompson; sons: Timothy T. Thompson and Delaney Thompson; brothers: Theodore Thompson; sisters: Lena McLean, Elaine Thompson, Doracus Rowland, Victoria Floyd; six grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
