Eugene Patterson 73 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on April 24, 2023.

Survivors are daughter Carol Patterson, grandchild Alexis Caldwell, nephews Terry (April) Douglas, John McLaurin, Jimmy (Eva) Douglas, Johnnie (Donna) Douglas, Lamont Douglas and Greg Douglas as well as nieces Annie (Ronnie) Roper, Wanda (Ernest) Williams, Angela Douglas, Sarah Douglas and Tina Leggett; along with a host of brothers and sisters.
