James L. Blue 73 of Rowland transitioned into eternal rest on August 6, 2019.

Reverend P. McQueen is the pastor. Bishop Michael Blue will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the William Chapel Church Cemetery in Maxton.

Survivors are: Wife: Cynthia Moore Blue. Daughter: Jamie Blue. Brother: Tommy Blue. Sister: Mary L. Bazemore.
