James Everette Braddy 42 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on January 13, 2025.

Survivors are father: Everette Bethea; mother: Carol Bethea; daughters: Aaliyah Braddy and Shermaryiah Green; brothers: Carl Braddy, Julius Braddy, Everette Bethea Jr., and Teon Bethea; sister: Tawanda Bethea.

Burial will follow in McLeod Cemetery in Maxton.
