James "Billy" Franklin Ballard 81 of Dublin transitioned into eternal rest on January 18, 2021.

For the safety of you and others face coverings must be worn for the services.

A viewing will be on Sunday January 24, 2021 between the hours of 1PM-2PM at Shipman and Purdie Cemetery in Dublin. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday January 24, 2021 at 2PM from the Shipman and Purdie Cemetery in Dublin, NC; burial will follow. Elder K.T. McGeachy will deliver the eulogy.

Survivors are: Daughter: Pearlie Leach. Sons: Jerry Burden, Billy Frank Rigans, Benjamin Ballard, Anthony Ballard, Jason Corey Ballard, and Jamie Ballard. Step son: Phil Wilson. Sisters: Mazie Ballard, Pearline Purdie, Rosa Regans, Margaret Ballard. Grandchildren: 28. Great Grandchildren: 32. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.
