James “Cowboy” Bethea 72 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on April 8, 2021.

For the safety of you and others face coverings must be worn for the services.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 11:00AM from Greater Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Maxton; burial will follow.
Survivors are: Wife: Debra Bethea. Daughters: Iris B. Sinclair, Loris Jones and Lora Williams. Sons: James Corey Bethea, Angelo Bethea, Larry Williams and Joel Williams. Brother: James E. Bethea and Everette Bethea. Sisters: Mandy Thomas, Ethel Bethea, Francis Bethea and Martha Gillespie. A host of Grandchildren and great Grandchildren.
