Lendora Kearse

Lendora Kearse 94 of Georgia formerly of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on July 15, 2024.

From her previous marriage to Curtis Campbell, Lendora had four children:

Curtis Jr., Vivian, Sandra, and Sarah Elizabeth. She was predeceased by Curtis Jr., Vivian, and Sandra. She is survived by her daughter Sarah Elizabeth Porter of Yonkers, NY, and four stepchildren: Katherine Campbell, Brenda Jordan, Anthony, and Philip Campbell, all of Hampton, VA.

Lendora is also survived by her siblings: Sally Mae Nicholson of New York, NY; Jean Leach of Lumberton, NC; and half-sister and brother Carrie Ratliff and Alton Ratliff, both of Lumberton, NC. She was predeceased by her siblings Willie Nicholson Jr., Doretha McDuffie, Gladys Anderson, and Evelyn Nicholson.

She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. Lendora's life was marked by resilience, love for her family, and unwavering faith. Her legacy continues through her surviving daughter, stepchildren, siblings, and numerous other family members and friends.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
