Luther Currie Jr. 79 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on November 5, 2022.

Survivors are: daughters Ernestine McNeill, Monica Malone and Martha Evans; son: Christopher Wayne Currie, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
