Mary Catherine Smith Bellamy 65 of Fayetteville transitioned into eternal rest on December 20, 2022.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Certeria Smith and Earnest Legavious Bellamy. She was blessed to have 7 grandchildren: Brandon Maurice Smith, Marissa M. Smith, Ayanna S. McKoy, Syanhna E. Smith, Za'ere L. McLaughlin, and Xavier D. Smith. One grandson preceded her in death, George Lamar Smith. She was proud of her two Great Grandchildren. Mary had several sisters, Dora Jean Jackson, Peggy A. Cutler (Ernest), Lettie M. Stanley (Ben), Samala O. Smith, God-Sister Mary Shavonne Maultsby and one brother, Mike Carl Kemp (Kimberly). Preceding her in death were 3 sisters, Dorothy Kemp, Carolyn Phillips, and Patricia Dukes. Also left to cherish her memories are a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
