Mother Lucille Sampson Stephens 92 of Whiteville transitioned into eternal rest on January 14, 2022.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00AM from Campground Cemetery in Whiteville; burial will follow. Dr. Patricia Richardson will deliver the eulogy.
Survivors are: daughters: Barbara Taylor (Billy), Debbie Jackson and Linda McMillian; son: Hal Stephens (Jacqueline); brother: Lewis Gene George; sisters: Peggy Jones and Betty Jo Shirden; seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
