Mr. Claudie Alfonza Ellis, Jr.

Claudie Alfonza Ellis, Jr. (age 67) of Bladenboro, North Carolina passed away at his home on August 13, 2023. 

Claudie (known as Fonza) was born June 28, 1956, to Deacon Claudie Ellis, Sr. and Missionary Annie Bell Ellis. At the time of his passing, he had retired from a long career as an independent Flooring Installation Contractor. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, energetic spirit, and contagious laughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Claudie Ellis, Sr. and Missionary Annie Bell Ellis, and a brother Cleveland Ellis.

Fonza is survived by his son Marc Dennis two grandchildren (Marc, Jr., Kyla) sisters: Brenda, Gwen, Angela, and Jennifer, a brother: Michael, stepmother: Iwilla Ellis, stepsister: Dean, Aunt: Zenobia Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
