Mrs. John Ora Morrison Manning 74 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on August 26, 2023.

Survivors are: daughter: ALesha Manning; son: Curtis Manning; brothers: Johnny Morrison Jr., Wendell Morrison, Nathaniel Morrison and Robert Morrison; sisters: Leila Alford, Clara Briggs, Barbara Ann Brawbum, Charlotte Thomas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
