Ronnie Douglas

Ronnie Douglas 61 of Maxton transitioned into eternal rest on July 1, 2020. He is the son of the late James and Louann Douglas.

At an early age, Ronnie attended Hunters Chapel AME Zion Church, and later in life; he joined Faith Joy Outreach Ministries in Laurinburg, NC, where he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.

He is preceded in death by a sister Annie Jacobs and a brother James Douglas Jr.

Ronnie Douglas leaves to cherish his loving memories two daughters: Stephanie (James) Gilchrist of Pembroke and Iesha Galbreath of Maxton; two brothers Ervin (Sarah) Douglas of Maxton and Shelton Douglas of Raeford; three sisters Cynthia (Garry) Foskey, Marilyn (Moses) Davis and Mary Thompson all of Maxton. Four grandchildren, five aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Please for the safety of you and others the use of mask and face coverings must be worn for the duration of both services.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday July 5, 2020 @ 1:00pm at Piney Grove UMC Cemetery in Maxton; Rev. Foskey will deliver eulogy; burial will follow.
